What you need to know about air horns
When selecting a quality air horn, make sure to closely examine the unit to determine how well it is built. Many of the lower-priced units on the market are actually chrome plated plastic, not solid brass like you would expect from a quality horn.
This affects the quality of the sound, but more importantly, the durability and useful life of the horn itself. Units manufactured from plastic and thin steel frequently break apart from the intense vibrations on the vehicle, reducing the life of the product significantly and requiring frequent costly replacements.
Our air horns, by contrast, are manufactured from solid brass and durable metal castings, designed to survive years of exposure and vibration on the road.
